What is National Agriculture Day?
National Agriculture Day, held each March, celebrates the farmers and ranchers who grow the food, fibre and fuel the United States depends on. The Agriculture Council of America has organised it since 1973, and the President proclaims it every year. Schools, farms and the US Department of Agriculture host events that show where food comes from and how a single American farm today feeds well over a hundred people.
