What is Brussels Flower Carpet?
Every two years, Brussels' Grand Place transforms into a breathtaking carpet of hundreds of thousands of begonias, arranged in an intricate new design each edition. Created in 1971 by landscape architect E. Stautemans, the biennial display celebrates Belgium's horticultural artistry at the UNESCO World Heritage square.
