National Swimming Pool Day
Dive in and cool off.
When is National Swimming Pool Day?
Every year on July 11.
What is National Swimming Pool Day?
National Swimming Pool Day celebrates the simple joy of swimming and cooling off in the summer heat. It encourages people to visit local pools, splash around, and enjoy time with friends and family. First celebrated in 2016, it builds on a long history of swimming—from ancient Roman baths to the sport's modern revival after the 1896 Olympic Games.
How to celebrate
