National Consumer Protection Week
Know the scam, keep your money.

When is National Consumer Protection Week?
From March 2 to March 8.
What is National Consumer Protection Week?
National Consumer Protection Week, held in early March, helps people spot scams, protect their personal information and know their rights as buyers. The Federal Trade Commission has led it since 1999 with partners across government and the non-profit world. Americans reported losing more than 12 billion dollars to fraud in 2024, so the week shares free advice on impostor calls, online shopping and identity theft.
