What is March Madness?
March Madness, the annual NCAA Division I men's and women's basketball tournament, tips off in mid-March and concludes in early April with the Final Four. The tournament, which expanded to 68 teams in 1985, captivates the United States with bracket pools, Cinderella stories, and unforgettable buzzer-beaters, drawing millions of viewers and billions of dollars in betting and advertising each year.
