Serendipity Day
Stay open to happy accidents.
Today
When is Serendipity Day?
Every year on August 18.
What is Serendipity Day?
Serendipity Day celebrates the happy accidents and unexpected good fortune that shape our lives. Inspired by the 18th-century coinage of the word 'serendipity' from the Persian fairy tale 'The Three Princes of Serendip,' the day encourages people to stay open to chance encounters and pleasant surprises.
How to celebrate
