It's My Party Day
Don't wait for an occasion. Make one.
When is It's My Party Day?
Every year on October 11.
What is It's My Party Day?
It's My Party Day, observed on October 11, invites anyone to throw a celebration — birthday or not, big or small. The day takes its name from Lesley Gore's 1963 hit, which turned a teenager's lament about a ruined party into an anthem for claiming joy on your own terms. Whether it's a costume bash, a karaoke night, or a quiet dinner with friends, the day's invitation is the same: don't wait for an occasion — make one. Life is short, the cake can be store-bought.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
