International Sloth Day
Slow down. They need us to speed up.
Today
When is International Sloth Day?
Every year on October 20.
What is International Sloth Day?
International Sloth Day was started in 2010 by the AIUNAU Foundation in Colombia to raise awareness of the sloths of Central and South America. Deforestation, power lines and the illegal pet trade threaten them, and the day supports rescue, rehabilitation and habitat protection.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
