What is International Ethical Hackers Day?
International Ethical Hackers Day celebrates the cybersecurity professionals who find and fix vulnerabilities before malicious hackers can exploit them. Launched in 2020 by the EC-Council — a credentialing body recognized by the US Department of Defense — the day launches National Cyber Security Awareness Month each October. It promotes awareness of ethical hacking as a career and celebrates the digital shield these professionals provide.
