When is International Cat Day?
Every year on August 8.
What is International Cat Day?
International Cat Day on August 8 celebrates one of humanity's oldest and most beloved companions. It was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare to recognise cats and learn how to protect them.
How to celebrate
Mark the day with a poster made in Dayfeed — pick your favourite photo as the background, share it to your story or group chat, and set a reminder so you never miss it next year.
